Lolita Skyview malaga Rooftop

As the sun dips below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink across the Mediterranean skyline, a new world comes alive in the heart of Malaga. Welcome to the enchanting realm of Malaga’s rooftop bars and terraces, where every sip is accompanied by panoramic views.

While we recommend all the rooftops on this list, we have split them into different categories to help you choose the best one based on the vibe you are looking for.

Best views

The Top at Hotel Molina Lario

Stylish rooftop bar with views of Malagas Cathedral and the port of Malaga. Known for its great cocktails and excellent service. The Top is a great choice for those looking for unique, high quality cocktails and drinks. There is no food served and the pool is for hotel guests only.

Rooftop AC Hotel Malaga Palacio

Our original rooftop favorite in Malaga is the Rooftop of the AC Hotel. Situated on the 15th floor, it’s the highest in the city, meaning incredible panoramic views. Enjoy delicious cocktails at a reasonable price. There is a large pool on this rooftop that is open all day long, so you can enjoy a cocktail whenever you want. Although please note that the use of the pool is for hotel guests only.

Those sitting around the pool have high tables that aren’t the most comfortable. But there are lower seats away from the pool area. It gets particularly busy at sunset so make sure you get there earlier to bag a table. At certain times you may need to pay an entrance fee down at the lobby but this is the price of one cocktail which is included.

Best Design

H10 Croma Rooftop Bar

The cost of drinks here is higher than most of the other rooftops on this list, and the views are not the best either but we recommend this rooftop if you appreciate beautiful interiors, or are looking for a quieter spot on the weekends for an intimate date or catching up with friends.

Lolita Skyview

Lolita rooftop sits on top of the Only You Hotel Malaga. Smaller in size than many of the others on this list, but made up for in style. The views are gorgeous and make the perfect backdrop for photos while you sip cocktails in the cushioned booths. Catch live dj’s on the weekends and unwind with friends.

La Terraza de La Alcazaba

Based on Google reviews, this is Malaga’s most popular rooftop. Despite not being as high as other rooftops, this rooftop offers a great view of the Alcabza and mountain range. Drinks are well priced with the average glass of wine for €2,50 and cocktails €7,50. During the day it is usually relaxed with space but once the sunsets this bar gets busy.

Vincci Rooftop Terrace malaga

If you’re looking for food with your drinks, then this is the spot. While many of the rooftops mentioned on this list do indeed serve food, Vinci Rooftop stands out for its elaborate and exquisite dishes. This rooftop is known for its great service, with a backdrop of Malagas cathedral.

Our second choice food on a rooftop. Located on top of the OXO Video Game Museum, Terraza Catedral is a new hot-spot with sleek interiors.
