La Pergola Restaurant
Our go to Italian restaurant when we are looking for an up-market Italian meal is La Pergola, situated outside of la Cala and accessible by car along the A7, take the exit after the bus stop prior to the la Cala exit.
La Pergola has authentic Italian decor, attentive and friendly staff and meals made from high quality ingredients.
Some of our favourite dishes are the truffle risotto, pizza La Pergola, lasagne and the burrata but everything looks fantastic. We advise you to share a starter if you go because each one we have tried is easily enough for 2 people.
Restaurante Konfusion
A creative Spanish fusion restaurant with a modern taste and establishment. Some of the dishes we’ve enjoyed are the cheese board, ham croquetas, pil-pil, the hamburger and the angus steak. If you are looking for a restaurant that has delicious food, a modern facade and not too expensive you can’t go wrong with Konfusion.
Martirio Limón
Arguably one of the best restaurants in la Cala. The food is to a very high standard thanks to a passionate chef that provides both delicious and well presented dishes. The serving staff are attentive and overall our experience here was outstanding.
The food is Spanish fusion and they have many gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.
El Gusto de la Cala
A lovely restaurant with reasonable prices, good service and entertainment. The menu has a lot of variety meaning there is something for everyone.
Delicious eggs benedict and a great English breakfast, exquisite salmon, steak and lamb are some of the dishes we love.
Sai Indian
If you’re looking to try something different to Spanish cuisine and enjoy Indian cuisine, Sai Indian is one of the best Indian restaurants near la Cala.
Their Onion Baji, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and Vindaloo curry (as spicy as you want it) are our go to favourites but everything looks fantastic.
La Tona Cerverceria
Hidden down a side street of la Cala, La Tona beer garden offers a wide selection of delicious drinks and Spanish tapa dishes at a great price in a relaxing setting.
Some of the tapas we really enjoyed were the Octopus, Spicy Potatoes, Chicken Skewer and Chicken Croquettes.
They have many gluten free options such as gluten free beer, skewers and potatoes to name but a few.
The Terrace Italian Restaurant
A well set Italian restaurant serving authentic freshly cooked dishes at very fair prices. The staff are friendly and attentive and the service is excellent. The pizza, lasagne and mussels are highly recommended!

Los Delfines Beach Club
Enjoy renowned Sangria, wine and Mediterranean food while taking in the view and smells of the Mediterranean sea. The service, atmosphere and music are thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable making Los Delfines one of the nicest beach restaurants in la Cala.

The Sanctuary Cafe
Brunch done right, one of our new favourites is the recently opened The Sanctuary Cafe. Their food will tantalise your taste buds and will have you going back again and again. The sanctuary Cafe has a relaxing setting and serves healthy favourites like smashed avocado, Shakshuka, acai bowls, Mezze platters and delicious fresh smoothies to name a few.
They cater to vegetarians and offer gluten free options.
Bsweet - Coffee & Bakery
Visit Bsweet for breakfast or lunch, treat yourself to pancakes, pastries, sandwiches and smoothies.
Churrería Cafetería Cañon
A traditional Spanish churrería with all the usual Spanish delights, in addition to English breakfast also. Cafeteria Canon is a local institution for churros and pitufos catalan (small sandwich with serrano ham and tomatoes).
